Welcome to your new gym

We’re excited to announce Victoria Leisure Centre and Southglade Leisure Centre will both be getting Life Fitness equipment!!!!

This exciting news comes as part of our refurbishment project of all six Active Nottingham leisure centres, don’t worry the other centres will also be getting the TLC they deserve*!

What can you expect from the new equipment? Thanks to everyone’s great feedback we have planned a setup around you! With everyone in mind from the ‘daily cardio lover’ to the ‘once-a-week heavyweight smasher’, there will be a great variety of equipment.

With the latest technology, everyone can accurately monitor and record fitness levels, and access TV, games, social media & the internet… all whilst working out. This state-of-the-art equipment is so new that it’ll make everyone else jealous. But don’t worry if you’re not tech savvy, the screens have a ‘quick start’ mode.

*Clifton Leisure Centre and Harvey Hadden Sports Village were renovated in March 2023 with Life Fitness equipment.

We love this centre! Situated in the bustling city centre of Nottingham, this centre is a real gem. This new kit will allow us to utilize more of the gym space and give our customers more of the equipment they’ve been asking for. Refurbishment date: The gym will be closed from Friday 24 November 2023 for the installation of the new equipment, with a VIP Open Day on Monday 4 December 2023 before reopening officially on Tuesday 5 December 2023. Please bear with us during this time – we have loads of great classes/activities to try out whilst we make improvements to the gym (especially our strength and functional offering).
