We're really excited to start welcoming you back onto our courts.

Check when activities are restarting

Guidance for indoor tennis (including Play Tennis lessons)

General information:

  • Arrive no more than 10 mins prior to session starting.
  • Follow the one-way signage while in and around the centre.
  • No cafĂ©, vending machines or water fountains available initially, so bring a pre-filled water bottle.
  • Sessions may be cancelled if not safe due to weather.

Player information:

  • Players will be able to wait on court 10 minutes prior to the previous session finishing, ready to start their session on time.
  • Individual players aged 14+ do NOT need to be accompanied by an adult, as per our normal Terms of Use.
  • Smaller group sizes are in accordance with LTA guidance.
  • All equipment is thoroughly cleaned.

Spectator information:

  • There will be indoor spectator space on the balcony for spectating Play Tennis lessons only.
  • No parents allowed on court.
  • Only one spectator per participant.
  • Please wear a face mask in the centre if you are not taking part in the lesson.
  • Please remember to wash or sanitise your hands regularly.

Guidance for outdoor tennis

Terms of use:

  • Booking your game in advance online or via our app is still mandatory.
  • Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance.
  • You must arrive at site no more than 10 minutes prior to your reserved booking.
  • Please take note of the court number you have booked and follow the route markings onsite and on the maps at the centre.
  • Please keep a copy of your booking confirmation for inspection at site.
  • No spectators are permitted.
  • Bring your own equipment (rackets and marked tennis balls).
  • Please adhere to current guidance on wearing face masks inside buildings i.e. toilets.
  • You are responsible for your own safety whilst on site.
  • Players from different households can now play singles and doubles outdoors together as long as they maintain social distancing.
  • Any left/lost property will be disposed of.
  • In the event of an emergency, please contact the emergency services.
  • Any player(s) not following the terms of use will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Facilities:

  • Please ensure you bring water with you.
  • Single accessible toilet only located adjacent to centre court.
  • There is a self-serve first aid station only, so please contact the emergency services if required.
  • Please take all litter away from site with you.
  • Please follow signage on site to and from your court.

On-court etiquette:

  • Avoid changing ends
  • Please vacate your court promptly to allow the next booking to start on the hour.
  • Players must not shake hands or high-five.
  • We recommend you sanitise your hands with antibacterial gel before and after your game.

Maintaining social distancing:

  • Do not play if you are self-isolating or have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Maintain social distancing, adhering to the 2m rule at all times when not playing with people from the same household.
  • Follow public health guidelines for hygiene.
  • Once you have completed your game, please vacate immediately.
