We’re being creative in how we use our spaces, to provide the best customer experience in the current situation.
We’ve adapted and re-purposed studio spaces, sports halls and outdoor spaces, so we can serve larger groups of exercisers safely.
We’ve provided our team with comprehensive Health and Safety training prior to opening, provided PPE where necessary and installed protective reception screens for everyone’s safety.
We’re increasing our cleaning regimes at the start and end of each day and in between each session.
We’ve also removed some equipment and reduced touch points wherever possible, to ensure our cleaning and sanitising regimes are as safe as possible.
And we’ve invested in professional deep cleans of all our centres, in readiness for your safe arrival!

Please arrive exercise-ready and shower at home – changing facilities and showers are NOT available.
Our toilets and hand washing facilities are open as normal, with hand sanitising stations also available throughout our centres.
Lockers are ONLY available for swimming sessions. For gyms and fitness classes, we advise only bringing a pre-filled water bottle and mat if required.

Should you feel unwell, test positive or develop symptoms of Covid-19 before or after a visit, please refrain from using the leisure centres and follow the latest government advice.
Should I wear a face covering when visiting?
We are closely monitoring government guidelines regarding face coverings and continue to update our policies.
The current guidance from the World Health Organisation is that you should not wear face coverings to exercise as this may reduce your ability to breathe comfortably. Sweat can make the mask wet and promote the growth of micro-organisms. You should still follow all other protective measures: maintaining social distancing and regularly washing and sanitising your hands while exercising.
As per Nottingham City Council policy on face coverings in our buildings, face coverings should be worn by all who are able indoors when not exercising.
Bring your face covering with you into the centre and wear it in circulation areas, such as hallways and reception, when spectating, such as parents of Swim School and Play Tennis children, and when queuing for your activities.

As our gym and studio lockers are currently out of use we’re asking our fitness customers to avoid bringing unnecessary items into the centre. We understand this isn’t always possible, in which case, staff will be on hand to help you find the best alternative option.
Please do not bring a towel, only use the cleansers provided to wipe down equipment.
We have worked closely with local trade unions to put our staff’s safety at the centre of our restart plans, and we are confident in our teams’ and customers’ safety.
We’re asking all customers to download and use the NHS COVID-19 app. Check in each time you visit one of our centres by scanning the QR code near reception.
We will adhere to government guidelines laid out with regards to ‘Test and Trace’. Where requested, we will provide attendance data should contact need to be made by authorised parties. We will act in accordance with all GDPR requirements.
