What is kickboxing?

Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defence, general fitness, or as a contact sport.

What age is it for?

Suitable for anyone aged 4+

What equipment do you need?

Protective equipment is compulsory and most clubs will have some equipment for you to use, to see if you enjoy it.

KPA Kickboxing Club

The club have taught the art of kickboxing for over 20 years to the people of Clifton and surrounding areas.

They currently have 2 teams sparring competitively, although members can train socially, just for fitness.
Training sessions take place at Clifton Leisure Centre on Thursday evenings.
Training Times:

4-8 years – 5:45pm
9-13 years – 6:45pm
14+ years – 7:45pm
