Harvey Hadden Sports Village has not had any gym equipment investment since it first opened in 2013, and Clifton Leisure Centre has also not had any significant investment for a number of years, therefore the decision was made to update these leisure centres first. We will be working through refurbishing the other centres during the next 4 years as previously stated in our initial press release. Further updates will be added to this page once the work at Clifton Leisure Centre and Harvey Hadden Sports Village has been completed.

Following a customer consultation/survey that we ran in late December/early January, we have used the feedback you provided by you, the user of these leisure centres. Based on the consultation results we have kept the core equipment types that people asked for and introduced new equipment that will benefit existing and new users/members of our leisure facilities.
The renovations aren’t just a refresh of equipment, we will also include a full makeover of the gym (including new fitness equipment) but also new flooring and facility refresh with functional zones, green zones, health and wellbeing zones and cardio areas.
As part of the project, the old equipment will go back to the supplier who will then refurbish and recycle it back into their network.
Prices will not increase based on this investment. However, as per our terms and conditions, our prices are reviewed annually and may be subject to an increase. To read our terms and conditions click here.
