What is boditrax?

A body composition tool that measures 20 different key metrics related to your body and how healthy it really is.

How do I use Boditrax?

  • To use Boditrax for the first time you need to set up an account by following the simple on-screen instructions on the Boditrax machine or ask a member of the leisure centre team to help you.
  • Once your account has been set up, remove your shoes, and socks, then when asked, step onto the machine and take hold of a scanner in each hand.

Where can I find Boditrax?

Boditrax is available at all six Active Nottingham leisure centres.

What does Boditrax measure?

  • Weight
  • Body fat %
  • Total body water %
  • Muscle mass
  • Physique rating
  • Bone mineral mass
  • Metabolic age
  • Body mass index
  • Visceral fat

How do I view my readings?

When using the Boditrax machine, your body composition data will be displayed. Your readings will be saved within your personal Boditrax account, which you need to set up the first time you use the Boditrax machine.

You can track your progress by logging onto the Boditrax app on Google Play or App Store.

In less than 60 seconds, the Boditrax machine will complete its full-body scan and you can view your results, on-screen, instantly.

Track

Download the Boditrax app to compare scans, set goals and connect activity monitors such as FitBit.

Frequency

Boditrax recommends using the machine no more than once a week, before any exercise and ideally around the same time of day to ensure consistency.

Who can use?

Boditrax is suitable for most adults and can also be used by young adults ages 13-19, but due to the body still growing, not all body measurements will be taken.
