New Barriers and Turnstiles at Victoria Leisure Centre 

We’re pleased to let you know that our new barriers and turnstiles have now been manufactured and are scheduled for installation on Thursday 5 February.
Installation is planned to be completed on the same day, including one incoming turnstile and one outgoing gate. 

To help everyone prepare and ensure a smooth experience, here’s a quick refresher on the correct entry process: 

✔ Booking Your Visit 

• Please book your activity online before arriving wherever possible. 

• If you haven’t booked in advance, you can book at reception before entering. 

✔ Scanning In 

• All customers must scan their card, wristband, fob, or digital pass at the turnstile before entering. 

• You must have a valid booking and scan in for every visit. 

✔ Additional Information for Health Suite Users 

Customers attending the Health Suite will need to collect a Health Suite wristband from reception before scanning in. 

This wristband includes the door access code, so even if you’ve prebooked online, you’ll still need to pop to reception to collect it. (We’re continuing to review this process and will update customers if improvements are made.)

The new controlled-access system will: 

• Improve customer flow 

• Enhance safety within the building 

• Help staff manage sessions more effectively
