What's available?

All 8 of our COVID-secure leisure centres reopened on Monday 12 April; however, we’re restarting activities in line with the government’s four-step roadmap out of lockdown.

 

Booking via our app and website is now available for gym, fitness classes, public swimming sessions and more.

What this means

Phase 1 – Monday 29 March

  • Outdoor sports facilities and formally organised sports
  • Outdoor tennis courts at Nottingham Tennis Centre

 

Phase 2 – Monday 12 April

Indoor leisure facilities, including gyms and swimming pools, will reopen – but only for use by people on their own or in household groups.

  • Gyms
  • Public swimming sessions
  • Junior swimming lessons
  • Junior tennis lessons
  • Organised indoor sports for children
  • Under-18 sports hall clubs
  • Under-18 swimming clubs
  • Cycling circuit at Harvey Hadden Sports Village

 

Children aged 13 and under can only access Junior swimming/tennis lessons and Swim for Fun public swimming sessions. Those aged 14 and 15 can use gyms, but must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or over.

Phase 3 – Monday 17 May

Organised indoor sports for adults and fitness classes will be able to resume.

Phase 4 – Monday 21 June*

Carers will continue to be offered access free of charge, but will be required to hold an Active Nottingham account and have pre-booked via the Customer Service team for the same activity of the member they are caring for.
